My painting finds its spatial and material dimension on unconventional supports such as wooden sticks and cardboard tubes. My work focuses primarily on the reinterpretation of masterpieces from art history and of works by artists—whether renowned or lesser known—which I transpose into a new spatial and perceptual dimension.

This is how my Tubular Paintings came into being: works that challenge viewers to reconstruct the image through the movement of their own bodies, rather than through the gaze alone. There is no privileged viewpoint from which the works reveal themselves in their entirety. Instead, it is the viewer who, by moving around them, transforms what at first appears to be a disorienting vision into a gradual discovery and a deeply personal reading.

Experiencing my Tubular Paintings means undergoing a true emotional storm. It is a dive into the past, an awakening of memories of places and travels, a return to the imagery of childhood, a feeling of immersion in nature, an encounter with history, an invitation to question spirituality, and a confrontation with the suffering of the human condition.

Through my work, I do not seek to impose a single, definitive meaning. My only intention is to evoke emotion. Whether positive or negative, intense or unsettling matters little. What matters is that the work moves the viewer. Nothing else.
